Cutting and marking on sewing
paper patterns in one unique solution:
Valiani tells us about Invicta AP

Published in Technofashion | Issue 4 – September 2023

Invicta AP, the flatbed cutting plotter entirely conceived by the Italian company Valiani, represents an excellent solution in the Fashion Industry for cutting rigid cardboard and fibreboard, making it easier for pattern designers to draw directly on the cardboard.

Valiani cutting solutions are specific and integrable with the main CAD systems available on the market, thus offering pattern makers a unique tool that allows them to cut not only patterns but also leather, fabric, or any material for creating prototypes, samples, custom-made garments, and small series, reducing prototyping and production times and costs.

Invicta AP: Enhanced Software

The remarkable innovation of Invicta AP lies in the enhancement of its software, which, among various features, provides a preview cutting simulation and an automatic placement with a drag-and-drop system.

Invicta features a divided vacuum table and a pneumatic clamp, allowing cutting on any type of cardboard with no thickness limitations.

Its high precision, structural robustness, and an excellent quality-to-price ratio make this solution ideal for marking and cutting patterns in the Clothing, Footwear, and Leather Industries.

Pen Marking Tool considerably improved

Due to the continuous evolution of its Research & Development department, Valiani has significantly enhanced the performance of the accessory used for marking on patterns, known as pen plotting. The writing phase always precedes the cutting phase and requires high precision to engrave tiny notches, numbers, and letters. The performance improvement now allows for smoother movement and a substantial increase in speed for both vertical and horizontal movements. Valiani’s pen, which requires ballpoint refills, ensures all of this, combining an extremely fast and high/low blade movement that can be measured in fractions of a second.

Guaranteed Benefits

Valiani machines, reliable, robust, and built in full compliance with the Made in Italy concept, are covered by a 5-year warranty and can be customized with a wide range of tools, ensuring high versatility in processing different materials, shapes, and thicknesses up to 5 mm or 20 mm with the oscillating head. Energy savings, low noise levels, compactness, and truly cost-effective operation costs are additional reasons to rely on Valiani’s Invicta technology: a well-established presence in the prototyping and small series industry in the Clothing, Footwear, and Leather sectors.
